A group of Kolpingwerk Deutschland (Kolping Germany) volunteer visited our children’s home at Melaya for 3 weeks from July 7-28. The group consisted of 9 people led by Marius Henkel, the group leader who experienced enganged in the Kolping volunteer program for Widhya Asih for three times. These volunteers participated in social, cultural and humanitarian activities and paint boys’ toilet, repaired cowshed, roof renovation, played sports and teaching english and german basic language for our students. The group learned how to played gamelan, a Balinese traditional percussive music from Melaya children which they performed on the farewell party of the group.
